Around the world girls and women are resorting to using rags, mattress stuffing, banana leaves, feathers and even cow dung to manage their menstruation. Days for Girls provide a safe, beautiful, washable and long-lasting alternative that girls and women can count on month after month, as well as providing vital health education.
 

Days for Girls (Thursdays) get together fortnightly on a Thursday throughout the school term to sew, chat, have good fellowship and create for a great cause! Meeting in Castor Bay from 1.30pm – 4pm, we create and sew all of the kits that we distribute to girls both in Vanuatu and New Zealand where needed.

Whether you are an avid sewer or completely new to it, there’s many ways that you can help in creating our packs. Alternatively, if sewing isn’t up your alley yet you’d still like to support Days for Girls, any sponsorship of material or finances would be greatly appreciated.
